You see, after I revert my Dell Inspiron 9400 back to Windows Vista last week, the first thing I notice is Vista is asking too many permission questions! It goes to the extend that reduce my productivity. I am using Illustrator CS2 heavily in my work. And Vista keep asking my permission to run Illustrator whenever I double click on an AI files.

After digging the information, I do this to make Vista behave more like XP. You see, Vista is really stupid in asking the same question over and over again. To Microsoft, after we answer the same answer twice, you should know that we are about to run the software that we intend to run!

All you have to do it go to Control Panel, click "Check this computer's security status" under Security.

Switch off "User Account Control" under Other Security Settings. Restart your computer, and Vista will become less annoying after that.
